One of the reasons men hide their true feelings is that they are afraid of rejection.

Rejection is a hard pill to swallow for a man’s ego, and often men will lie to you in order to protect their fragile egos.

Another reason men hide their true feelings is that they are afraid that once their feelings are known, the women they are in love with will take advantage of them or will use them. - When you are around he is acting as if he doesn’t notice you. He can be friendly and chatty with everyone else around, but he will intentionally ignore you as if he doesn’t know you.

- He is loud and obnoxious in your presence. He does that without even realizing it because he wants to draw everybody’s attention toward him including you.

- He acts as if he doesn’t care, but the truth is that he deeply cares and he acts this way because he wants to mask his true feelings for you!
